Accommodation When Travelling in Wales

Cardiff has a number of attractions for visitors. For sports fans, you have the Millennium Stadium; and for music lovers, the capital has a terrific modern music scene. There are tons of excellent restaurants, cafes, and pubs to choose from as well. If you like shopping, then you will find all the big name stores as well as small designer boutiques here.

But, after doing all of that, you would want to relax, right? Where do you stay? Here are a few accommodation options:

The first and most obvious option would be a hotel. There are many prime hotels at Cardiff Bay for you to choose from. Some of the well-known ones are the Hilton Cardiff, St. Davids Hotel & Spa, the Park Plaza, etc. You should be able to find something that fits your budget and taste with ease.

If you don’t want to spend too much on accommodation, then a guest house is your best option. There is no dearth of choice when it comes to guest houses in Wales. Whether it’s a B&B you’re looking at or a basic 4-star accommodation, there are a plethora of options to choose from. There are some which are very popular too. They might charge a little more, but the experience is well worth it.

If you prefer being on your own, then you could opt for a self-catering apartment. There are some fabulous apartments with amazing views in the country. These apartments define the very term holiday apartment. Just remember that you’ll have to do everything yourself, though.

One last thing, it’s always good to book your accommodation in advance, so you don’t end up in Wales without anywhere to stay. You don’t want to spend half your vacation looking for a place to stay now, do you?
